It's a common misconception that ski racers always re-centre at edge change. And that you have to extend into edge change. No you don't. You stay low and squat yourself through every transition. Almost offcourse because there are always exceptions. There is also a misconception that its not tiring. It is very tiring. That's why WC skiers work out in the gym almost every day. Do you? If you don't, don't expect to ski like a WC racer :).
